Mayo Clinic and Microsoft have announced a collaboration to build a 'frontier' AI model purpose-built for healthcare. The model, which will be owned by Mayo Clinic and draws on its de-identified clinical data, is designed to support clinical reasoning across a broad range of uses; Microsoft plans to offer it to other organisations through its Azure AI Foundry.
