Innovaccer acquires CaduceusHealth in $66M deal to extend AI platform into revenue cycle

Innovaccer's fifth acquisition adds outsourced revenue cycle management for approximately 4,000 ambulatory providers, with CaduceusHealth's coding and insurance-policy data becoming training material for Innovaccer's RCM agents.

Healthcare AI infrastructure company Innovaccer announced on 21 May 2026 that it has acquired CaduceusHealth in a deal valued at $66 million. CaduceusHealth, founded in 1997, provides outsourced revenue cycle management, medical billing, and clinical staffing to approximately 4,000 healthcare providers and manages around $5 billion in gross patient charges annually.

The acquisition extends Innovaccer's Flow software platform to cover the full revenue cycle for outpatient and ambulatory care. Innovaccer has said it will integrate CaduceusHealth's accumulated database of specialised medical codes and localised insurance guidelines into its AI platform, with the stated objective of building autonomous, agentic revenue-cycle workflows rather than the human-supervised automation that currently characterises most healthcare RCM.

It is Innovaccer's fifth acquisition. Revenue cycle is one of the largest concentrated cost centres in US healthcare administration, and a series of vendor consolidation moves (including Waystar's earlier acquisitions and the broader Epic/Oracle bundling pressure on third-party RCM) make this a market where AI claims will be tested against existing automation incumbents rather than greenfield workflows.
