Abstract. Health Policy 2018;122(4):412-421. Systematic review of 105 studies of outpatient appointment non-attendance, reporting an average no-show rate of the order of 23% across specialties (ranging from 13.2% in Oceania to 43.0% in Africa), with high lead time and prior no-show history as the main determinants.
